The innovative Cekol® sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a bio-based and biodegradable hydrocolloid, making it a preferred sustainable choice. The different qualities and functionalities of CMC can be customized for specific applications in pharmaceuticals, and care products. Cekol® CMC is a water-soluble polymer derived from wood or cotton cellulose and produced with a purity of at least 99.5%. The product hydrates and dissolves easily in hot and cold water and meets GMO-free requirements due to its production from wood cellulose.
